Faye and The Desert Dancers originally the Jelly Belly Dancers was started in 2002 by Lynn and Faye who wanted to share their passion for the dance and bring the art of belly dance to the public. The Troupe has grown to Twenty members and still growing.
Faye and The Desert Dancers share two common attributes: Enthusiasm and Love of the dance.
We take great pride in giving this art form the respect that it so deserves whilst ensuring that we bring fun into the lives of our dancers. Each dancer shows the diversity of their unique style of dance employing Egyptian, Turkish, Lebanese, Arabic, and Tribal Fusion.
We perform regularly in and around East Anglia at many public and private venues. the members of the troupe regularly perform at the MAYORS PARADE and Festival in Peterborough and Various theatres in the area . We are also glad to perform for any city, civic, or charity event. The main goal of the Desert Dancers is to have fun, and to bring attention to the joy of belly dancing.
